Why Jukeboxedu.com?
This is a question that even I continue to ask myself.  For starters I needed a home for web based assignments that I was using with my Texas History students.  I also envisioned a place for teachers in Texas and beyond to find information on how teaching in an immersed campus changes their everyday vision of education and their jobs.  Finally, I wanted the freedom to express my opinions on how technology can change and evolve education.  Why commit to Jukeboxedu.com?  Because, I have a passion for ensuring that the kids of the future are prepared for the future.

What can you find here?

First of all there are links that will take you to live web based lessons that are currently being developed and used by 7th grade Texas History students at Stephen F. Austin Middle School in Bryan, TX.  In conjunction with the student information is informative parent information designed to build a strong relationship between the learning triad; students, parents, and teachers.

The other main initiative of this web site is to give a glimpse of what it is like to teach 300 7th graders that have more computer power in their backpack then NASA had when they sent a man to the moon. It is a fun experience.

Teacher to Teacher I hope that you can learn from our collective experiences at SFA.  Teacher to Student this site is built for your success.  Teacher to Parent your kids need you in their learning, they will learn more from you more than all the schools in the world.
